Blue Sky at Big White

Can you believe this was my first blue sky day of the season?  They don't call it Big White for nothing, let me assure you.  I have been waiting patiently since November for the chance to snap some clear pictures of our adventures on the mountain!
The view is so amazing, I wish I had a panoramic option on my camera for stuff like this.
The snow was soft and the visibility was perfect, we couldn't have asked for a better day.

Family Visit

Luke's Dad and Brother came to visit us very recently. They stayed in our little abode and took advantage of the fresh snow around here by skiing and snowboarding for 5 days!  What a wonderful way to experience the Okanagan in the winter :) Unfortunately, I was sick in bed for 6 days with the worst. cold. EVER. and was only able to go snowboarding with them once. Luckily Luke managed to stay healthy and was able to show them a good time while they were here  (I apologize for the lack of photos, but I could barely make it out of bed for most of their visit)

I took a few pictures on the one day I made it up to the mountain.  It was one of the best snowboarding days we've ever had and I am so very grateful that I was able to go with Luke's family for that one amazing day.
