Crescent City Harbour

We woke up to this interesting view on our first morning in California.  We spent the night in a pleasant and simple motel in Crescent City, directly across from this bustling harbour.

There were fisherman unraveling their nets and boats heading out for the day.  And what a beautiful day it was!

There was also an iconic lighthouse in Crescent city that I tried to capture but it was so far away. It looked gorgeous in real life.

Fishing at Vaseux Lake

We got our fishing licenses this year, so we are making a point of traveling around the Okanagan to fish on as many lakes as possible.

 Even though the skies were threatening we never got rained on

 Vaseux Lake is just outside of OK falls, about an hours drive from Kelowna.

 We didn't get a single bite so I got bored quickly and started looking for wildflowers.
