Our New Rocking Chair - Thanks Mom and Dad

Oh how I love this thing already!  It is so lovely to grab a book and 'glide' away, I didn't realize how relaxing it would be.  Circus, of course, has claimed this as his new napping chair. I don't blame him.

It's such a peaceful nook, I can't imagine our house without it now.

The Story of Grandma's Quilt

 My Grandma made this beautiful quilt for our wedding gift. She has many, many grandchildren and each of us got to custom-order a quilt while we were teenagers. I chose this pattern and these colours probably about 15 years ago... and I still love it!  I knew I had this lovely quilt waiting for me on my wedding day and it was such a wonderful gift to look forward to. Now it is proudly displayed on our bed, getting used, being loved and appreciated. Thank you so much Grandma for such a meaningful heirloom that we will cherish in our family forever.
