Bringing the Outside In
One of the things I love about our house are the many beautiful plants and flowers that bloom every year. The previous tenants were horticulturists and now we get to enjoy their expertise. Our rose bushes do amazingly well, they get bigger every season and seem to overflow with roses. So I never hesitate to cut a few and bring them indoors :)

Garden Update
Radishes
More Radishes - always the quickest crop
Peas - these are new to us this year
Tomatos
Initially we thought all our tomato plants didn't survive the transition outdoors, but they seem to be doing better now. They are even growing new green leaves, thank goodness because these were a gift from our neighbours :)
Zucchini - these will have to be thinned unless we want a stock pile of zucchini again
More radishes - also need a bit of thinning
Oh and Circus of course! He is standing over our row of beets...
Carrots
And the whole plot

Our little 'Peanut'
We are extremely happy to announce that we are expecting a little one in the future. I am finally past the first trimester and I'm glad to finally be able to spread our good news with everyone.
Here are some pictures of me at 12 weeks, it doesn't look like much but I can't fit into most of my pants already!

Fishing at Vaseux Lake
We got our fishing licenses this year, so we are making a point of traveling around the Okanagan to fish on as many lakes as possible.
Even though the skies were threatening we never got rained on
Vaseux Lake is just outside of OK falls, about an hours drive from Kelowna.
We didn't get a single bite so I got bored quickly and started looking for wildflowers.
